National Hedgelaying Championships 2025

46th National Hedgelaying Championships held on Saturday, mid Storm Amy. A decent size hedge and more work than you think. The start maroon went of at 9 oclock and 112 hedgers started clearing, cutting, laying, building there hedges, staking, binding. 5.5 hours soon past and the finish fireworks sounded the finish. Judging had been carried out over the course of the day and with a final look it was all down to how the points add up. Very pleased to come away with 1st place in the Dorset Class my 4th time .
