Beech Avenue Kingston Lacy completed

608 metres completed for the National Trust along Beech Avenue at Kingston Lacy a really satisfying stretch to undertake.
Over that distance, there were quite a few dead ones that needed removing, but every gap has been earmarked for replanting. The plan is to carefully fill those spaces and restore continuity, creating a rejuvenated nature corridor that will support wildlife, strengthen the landscape, and safeguard the character of the avenue for years to come.
It’s rewarding to see it coming together. With buds just beginning to show, there’s already a signal that the seasons are turning and that change is underway a reminder that this work is as much about the future as it is about preserving the past. #soggyhedgelayer #countryside #dorset #rejuvenation #countrylife
