HAVE A GO TASTER TRAINING DAYS
Have you ever wanted to have a go at the traditional country craft of Hedgelaying?
Dorset Hedgelayer, Russell Woodham is running taster, training days throughout the 2015/16 winter season at various locations around Dorset.
You will learn how to cut and lay a hedge in the Dorset style using hand tools.
Each course will have a maximum of 5 participants allowing you to have as much individual support as you need.
Billhooks provided, if you have your own loppers, hand saws, billhook, hand axe please bring along. No chainsaws (even if you have a licence), Due to H & S, we will try to do as much as we can with hand tools (Instructor may use a chainsaw where required).
A basic lunch will be provided. Please be aware you will be in a rural location with no toilet facilities.
Day course £55 per person. £10 non refundable deposit at time of booking, balance to be paid on the day.
