Clarksons Farm S2 Episode 6

A year and 5 days after being filmed, Clarkson’s Farm S2 went to air on 10 February 2023. I was fortunate enough to be a competitor in the Diddlysquat 2022 Hedgelaying competition which is highlighted in episode 6, ‘Counselling’, and I’m now able to share some pictures.
Now I seem to have ended up more on the cutting room floor than on the screen, maybe a good thing but there is a good 10 seconds of my backside whilst cutting in the Dorset class. With a total length of 288m of hedge to lay by the 32 competitors in five regional styles; out of that 288 I was allocated the only length with a corner in it, meaning a few more cuts and nicks involved.
There was a good competition with some stunning work done by all, each having a camera on them for a short period of time along with inquisitive presenters asking questions.
Come the end of the five hours allotted cutting time, each style was judged and had a 1st-3rd positions awarded, with an overall winner on the day chosen from the class winners. I was pleased to come away as Dorset Class winner . Congratulation to all cutters and to Paul for overall winner on the day. @jeremyckarkson1 @cooper_kaleb #clarksonsfarm2 #diddlysquatfarm #rejuvenation #hedgerows #dorset #hedgelayer #swandri #billhooks #hedgelaying #dorsetstylehedgelaying #husqvarnauk #protoshelmet #echotools
