Well after a day of helping to set up in nice sunshine on the Friday, Saturday arrived with very thick coastal mist with a view of about 30yds if that, but still a good turn out
Everyone ready to go by 9.30, for the hedging draw and we were away by 9.45. It didnt take long to warm up but the mist remaind. With saws & billhooks doing there stuff, bits of hedge flying everywhere the hedge soon started to take on a different look, a quick break when lunch was handed out and stood back to see how others are doing, then back to it through until 3 pm. Then time for the Judges to do there bit.
Results As always it must be very hard for the judges as theres was a good standard to pick from. Come the results I was very pleased with a 1st in class and to retain the trophy, but very surprised with 1st overall.
